Local Music Making

This page will include brief details of music-making other than WCS concerts in which our members or associates are taking part, or of “Come and Sing” events within easy travelling distance of Wantage.

• Sunday January 3rd: Come and Sing Messiah, at Wantage Methodist Church Hall, 2.30pm – 5.00pm. Conductor Malcolm Pearce; all proceeds to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Tickets for singers or audience £8
• Friday 9th April to Sunday 11th April 2010: Gloucestershire Choral Weekend, at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. Mixture of older and modern music, including the Thomas Tallis Lamentations. Residential or non-residential options available: food particularly good. More details from Cedric Virgin 01451 850796.
